The new home of the Walt Disney Company is located in the Hudson Square neighborhood of Lower Manhattan and takes up an entire city block of the former “Printing District.”

At 23 floors and 345 feet tall, the headquarters features both office and production studio space for all of the Disney family companies along with a retail area on the ground floor. Designed to integrate with the existing buildings in the neighborhood, the façade is clad with columned green terracotta units and champagne gold glass and fins. The 1.2 million sq ft headquarters developed by Silverstein Properties and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill can accommodate up to 5,000 employees.

NHF began production for this project in April of 2021 and completed installation in Q4 of 2023. The addition of 4 Hudson Square to our New York City portfolio was influential in more ways than one. It was a first of many for NHF. The first project with both Silverstein Properties and LendLease, and it was also the first our first project where we utilized terracotta as a material in our curtainwall units.
