New Hudson Facades completed the 10th Avenue recladding of 20 Hudson Yards in Manhattan, developed and constructed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group, with design by Kohn Pedersen Fox.

The project expands NHF’s growing Hudson Yards portfolio with the conversion of the top three floors of the building from retail to a nearly 450,000 square foot office expansion for Wells Fargo.

NHF was responsible for recladding the east elevation facade along 10th Avenue, installing all curtain wall units directly from truck to wall. The system features 10-foot-wide units, an extra-wide configuration, across 45,000 square feet of curtain wall.

The façade design incorporates extruded aluminum elements and metal panels for enhanced aesthetic expression. The project also includes the largest curtain wall unit by square footage ever built by NHF, measuring 245 square feet.

Awarded in February 2024 and completed by January 2025, the project was delivered on a fast-track timeline of under one year.
